Avocado Toast Variations

There are countless variations of avocado toast. The freshness/quality of avocado plays a huge role in this.

Personally, I don’t enjoy smashed/mashed avocado because of : texture and taste (too often, overripe).

I do love a perfectly ripe avocado - creamy, vibrant in colour and still firm enough to dice. Glorious.

Favourite avo toast combinations:

• lime, salt, homemade chilli oil and nori.

• 100% yuzu juice, salt, green chilli and scallions + avocado oil (or any neutral oil of choice).

• lime, EVOO, coriander and chilli. Add pomegranate or pomelo if available.

• rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, salt and scallions. **use sesame oil with restraint. Nori and toasted sesame seeds optional. This also makes a delicious meal paired with rice and a soft boiled or fried egg.

Fold the avocado into the ingredients before placing on top of garlic rubbed toast.
