Braised Ginger and Sesame Chicken with Leek and Potatoe

This dish is inspired by the sesame oil (and ginger) chicken I ate as a child. It was one of my two favourite chicken dishes growing up in Perth. The other: soya sauce chicken.

The OG is delicious on its own (chicken, sesame oil, oyster sauce, ginger, white pepper, soy and water). I added leek and potatoes because it makes a one pot meat of meat and veg, plus: I love the flavour of jammy braised leek.

Choose oyster sauce wisely and what suits your dietary needs.

**Gluten free option: sub shoyu with Tamari.
